bheer mein zamane ki
hath choor jate heyn
dost daar lehjun mein
silvateyn si parti hain
ik zara si ranjish say
waqt ki zard tehni par
badgumani ke phool
is tarha say khilte heyn
zindagi say pyare bhi
ajnabi say lagte heyn
gher ban kar milte hein
umar bhar ki chahat ko
aasra nahin milta
dashte bejakini mein
rasta nahin milta
khamoshi ke wakfun mein
baat toot jati hay

sira nahin milta
phool rang wada ki
manzalein sukarti hein
rah murne lagti hai
bedili ke gare say
berukhi ki mitti sai
